A day out in the Katoomba Falls area, Blue Mountains, with a Yuri Evdokimov (Юрий Евдокимов) from Novosibirsk.
We caught the train to Katoomba, then walked to Echo Point to see the Three Sisters. We had planned to walk down the Giant Stairway (down all 841 steps!), but it had been closed due to a landslide. Instead, we walked along the cliff to Katoomba Cascades, then down the Furber Steps to Katoomba Falls, the old coal mines, the rainforest walk and the Scenic Railway. A wonderful day!
