A day out with Aaren, Sam and Andrew to the Valley of the Waters at Wentworth Falls, Blue Mountains.
We caught the train to Wentworth Falls, then walked the Charles Darwin Walk along Jamison Creek to Weeping Rock, Queens Cascades and Wentworth Falls. After a brief look from Rocket Point Lookout, we took the National Pass track to the many waterfalls along the Valley of the Waters Creek, particularly the spectacular Empress Falls. From here, we took the Overcliff Walk to the Wentworth Falls Picnic Area before walking back to the train station, tired but happy. A total distance of about 9km.
